Vehicle Co-signer issue!!!?

Here is my story....January 2007 I co-signed for a vehicle for my wife (now ex-wife). The vehicle was hidden from me as she was stationed in Hawaii and I was stationed in Colorado at the time. By the time I got to Hawaii and she finally told me where the vehicle was it was too late and the bank had already repo'ed it due to her not paying the payments and I couldn't afford them along with my own truck payment at the time. I have been paying the remaining $17,000 after the bank auctioned the truck and I am currently down to around $6K. My question is can I sue her for all or at least a fair portion of the total that I have paid on the repossessed truck? After all is said and done I will have spent slightly over $17,000 paying for a truck that I never drove and if I could get some of that money back it would really help......$5-6,000 is better than $0.00 if you know what I mean!
